Dr. Liberty Sibanda is the Applications Manager at Randox Laboratories, UK. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Ghent University, Belgium) focused on the development of accelerated methods for mycotoxin detection, as well as an MBA in International Business Management (United Business Institutes, Belgium).
He has authored 24 scientific manuscripts, published in A1 peer reviewed journals, on the detection of mycotoxins and veterinary drug residues. Dr. Sibanda has extensive experience providing solutions to government residue monitoring programmes and testing laboratories in Africa, Europe, Latin and North America. He is involved with the scientific community, especially AOAC, where he makes contributions to the development of analytical methods. Dr. Sibanda worked previously as the Scientific Project Consultant on the IAEA AFRA projects focused on “Laboratory Capacity Development”. He also worked as International Product and Sales Manager at Euro-Proxima BV (Netherlands).
